:w00t: First one I have ever seen, it was about 6.30 this evening. There were 2 sports bikes in the outside lane of the M2 heading towards London they must have been doing 80+ mph when one accelerated and did a huge wheelie really high and very well controlled, but rather dangerous I thought. Is it common to do wheelies in the outside lane of a motorway? I have never seen it before and was rather taken back. It was a very impressive wheelie for a good distance and very high. Just thought I would share as I was so surprised. Nice bike too. :w00t:

I must confess to being very shocked at the time that someone would pull a stunt like that on a busy motorway. There was an awful lot of traffic about. It may have been a very well executed stunt but it was a very stupid place to do it, putting other road users at risk like that. I was just so surprised at the time I really couldn’t believe what I had just seen, or where. I didn’t realize you could do a wheelie at that sort of speed, well I know different now. Perhaps I don’t get out enough. It’s not something I will forget in a hurry.
Heh, must be the weather conditions. As I rode up the M11 this afternoon, saw someone popping a wheelie opposite in the outside lane, most certainly getting a move on and leaving the 70 mph traffic like it was stopped… don’t know what their pillion thought about that :w00t:

you can wheelie most 600’s in 3rd gear to waay over 100mph, and if those bikes were 1000’s…well…it would be seriously fast!

on the way to work down the a23 some dumass was doing some during his morning commute…once in front of a gatso camera facing the opp way…he made it flash for a photo-finish! and once outside kennington police station…what a idiot!
i personally think if you’re in a deserted area then its kinda cool but in traffic itz pretty stupid!

Nah sorry bout that didnt mean to give you a scare but me mate was riding next to me trying to light my cig ya see when all of a sudden a lil pink bunny rabbit run out and being the soft fuzzy I is I didnt wana squash it so I had to lift the front wheel up thus giving it time to escape. my mate was watching a car full of girls who where flashing their bits when he got a h*** *n. unfortunately it was stuck under his tank bag so l;ifted the bike up. Honestly officer please dont take me licence away I need my bike to pick up mum who will beat me if I dont take her to church n bingo!
