So, I’ve noticed where I live in Tonbridge, and where I work in Croydon, and on my old manor, South Norwood, that the archetypal Big Issue seller seems to have disappeared - no more cheeky, odd ball comments from loveable rogue types with stories to tell.
They have all been replaced by Romany women…
Sorry, but did I miss something? Aren’t Romany folk supposed to be homeless, hence their nomadic tendency?
So why are they selling the Big Issue?
