I’ve got my ticket for the Catalunya GP in Montmeló this weekend, but have never been to a MotoGP event.
I’m going on all three days and was wondering what I can expect aside from the actual race.
Does anyone with experience have any ideas for interesting stuff to do (try to do), things to look out for, photo opportunities etc?
My ticket is for a seat in stand E (at the end of the start finish straight).
Any tips?
Mmmmmm Moto GP in Spain i would expect you not to get any sleep and be kept awake by many drunk spaniards thrashing 2 stroke engines all night till they explode:w00t: Bonfires and general larking about. Plenty of photo opportunities of all the kaos going on and then you may even get to see the racing:P
wow MotoGP in Spain would be awesome! :w00t: lucky you!
i’ve only gone on a 3day race at Laguna Seca so a totally different experience. but with those 3 days, i basically checked out all the events, visited (of course) the Yamaha tent :D, checked out all the bikes in the car park, and take LOTS of photos of everything
i reckon SPain has more interesting crowd? check out the stunts, bands playing, fan appreciation things, check out the umbrella girls, and drink lots? :D:D
last year Alex and I went to Silverstone and i thought it was boring. maybe not so much of the race but the place and what they had there was quite boring
Hope you had a good time.
I had tickets but ended up flying to the Marshall Islands on a job. I’ve been to that one about 9 times, it’s a crackin’ place to watch motogp.
