Right theres a song i know the tune to… but not the lyrics.
All i know really is that the chorus is like “I say Na na naaa na na naaa”
I dont know who its by, it sounds like REM, but ive listened to REM previews on iTunes but cant seem to find.

At the risk of spinning the thread, Thanks for posting the Joe South clip Alex Gold . I’d forgotten that.
I have fond memories of hammering through Yugoslavia , Greece and Turkey with a couple of mates and that playing on the Philips cassette player in a knackered Triumph Herald that year. We had about ten cassettes but I only remember that from, a compilation tape, and the music from the “Candy” film.

My parents did that exact trip in the late 60’s in a Triumph Vitesse - looks the same as a Herald but with twin headlights!
