Just got back from work, and this morning going to work at about 5am, riding thru the Limehouse Link, came out the other side, and a van went straght thru the red lights, and nearly sided me! Had a few choice words for the driver, and he seemd oblvious to it, then coming home at about 1pm, at the traffic lights on Poplar High Street, and a fast food van turning right, the serving hatch flew down and nearly took my head off - think I’ll go back to bed and start again today - totally stressed withe the w**nkers on the road these days.
Well your REALLY do not want to be riding tonight between 7pm and 8.30pm and at half time. Last week the driving before the game and at half time was appalling.
Stunning ride home during the last match - no-one on the road!
Bad luck mate - definitely go back to bed and start again!
dont get me started about the driving…

I also had a really great ride the other day during the match, free roads, less pedestrians, no cyclists, that is what it must be like in heaven. I’ll be a footie fan before you know it!
I had one of these type days on the way up to Ace a couple of weeks ago… Got balked at a roundabout by a 4x4 that was using inside lane, then out to middle and back in again. Three lanes all divided by white lines and he completely cuts me up. If you have a sh!tie truck that rolls at speed whenever you go round a bend you DO NOT take a straight line through the middle with complete disregard for what is behind you… then the tosser in the micra behind me thinks it is my fault for having to virtually stop mid roundabout. Comes up about 3 foot from my rear wheel beeping and doing some gestures. I felt like stopping and chinning him… very close to offering the little pr!ck out, then thought better of it as he could have had me off
Traffic was terrible, filtering all the way from Kew. Up towards Acton a lorry seemed to pull over so I could filter past hit the curb and started bouncing about in front of me. Again puckered arse, locked anchors Think that was him trying to be a good bloke but kind of backfired a bit
There was an artic blocking three lanes of the A406 stuck on red lights while the traffic behind on green couldn’t move… there was more but can’t remember all of it now. Just seemed like one of those days.
Still arrived all in one piece, which is more then can be said for the poor unfortunate (pedestrian?)that left a big dent in the front of a Metro outside Feltham libruary yesterday. Went to get some stuff from the supermarket and it had stopped all the traffic in the area. One direction of the dual lane carriage way had been closed and loads of traffic cops taking measurements etc. Looked a bad one.
Get home safe and in one piece, that is the main thing. Avoid the muppets that drive like they are in a bumper car at the fairground and everyone else is on THEIR road…
yea, guess it happens evryday, but am sure the standard of driving is getting worse, wish the world cup was on every day - 4 years is a long time to wait!
Hello mate…
had the same sort of thing happen to me on monday…beautiful day…heading off to do a training presentation in Angel, and in no particular hurry…on roundabout to get onto westway flyover and I’m the ONLY FUCKING VEHICLE FOR MILES…and this stupid fat fucker driving a bus is coming from my left and hasn’t even looked to see whether there may be any vehicles…just steams ahead, at some rate I can tell you and almost knocks me off! What does the fat fuck do? He raises his hand and shouts how sorry he is! Oh well thats all fucking right then!..you can imagine what I’m growling back at him!
You can’t win really mate…the sun brings out all the sunday drivers…dawdling along with not a care in the world…and the bad weather makes them as stupid as they ever were lol…so just take deep breaths, count to a million, and keep yourself save mate…hope to see you sometime
so was the playiing of the game until the last 10 mins
I hope you luck gets better tomorrow

ride safe out there
the worst traffic for me was last friday en rout to the Ace. It started with me going to meet Mellow at Fulham Palace Road as he had never been to the ace before, so i arranged to meet at a shell station. All the way it was f*****ng nose to tail, and there was an accident in Fulham itself!!!, bike kept overheating, buses pulling out without any indication, to say the least i was stressed!
After we filtered our way out of that hell hole we then went up Shepherds bush road and headed on the A40, I panicked and took the wrong turn, ended up with us going in Acton and again traffic all the way, was not hapy by the time i got there! but we did have a good time!
Left work at 7.45 hopeing to make it home for the start of the match. So hardley any traffic so have a good belt till I come down the side of the Old Kent Rd flyover. Low and behold a police traffic carjust coming off it. Have to folow it as I still havnt solved my numberplate problem and its still up under the seat. So have to follow him all the way to New Crosswhere he goes on towards Deptford and I can turn off for Brockley. Missed the first 5 minutes of the game.

Yesterday, I’m out 'spatching going down the Fulham Palace Road and some white van man makes a u-turn right in front of me!
I sort of shake my head at him and do a beeline left and go behind his tail and what does he do as I come out the other side? Yell out the window:
“SLOW THE F**K DOWN!!!”
Erm… I was going 15-20 mph… in a 30 zone…
Damn people these days…
