…having a wrist band put over the front brake resevoir?? I often see them on sports bikes.
From my understanding its to stop the brake fluid going all over the bike if you bin it and crack the resevoir.
Soaking up brake fluid as far as I know.
If you have to pull over for a emergency wank you have something handy to mop up any mess.
And then you have something to keep your trouser snake warm
I think it’s “The Being Cool Factor” most of the times…
Ask Jay. He has an odd thing on his, ooh er mizzuz
Looking cool I think, I can’t see a little wrist band soaking up the contents of a brake reservoir.
Needless to say I haven’t got one…
Haven’t got what, a band or a reservoy, as they say oop narf?
and lubed!
Maybe we need to get some LB sweat bands made up
And a T-Shirt too
A T-shirt without built in man-breasts. Sorry Cezar, it just blurted out
In his defence it was near christmas lol
Many race bikes have them fitted, for a few reasons, but mainly to soak up any small leaks, and to look cool and add some more advertising space, or customisation for the rider I do it, as I find it fun to add a different one every now and then, it’s something to personalise my bike.
I have no comments in my defense
You can always use it to clean your visor
(assuming that it doesn’t actually have any brake fluid on it…)
If it were to make the bikes look “cool”, wouldn’t they be fitted to Harley’s as standard ?
No, cos Harleys NEVER look cool.
…yes I have a sweat band on my reservoir aswell
If you used a huge bag with Quiksilver/Scott/Onfire etc all over it, and it completely enclosed the Harley and rider, it might pass as cool.
Just.
And I think I may have to join the wristband brigade. Honestly, I can’t see a passing bandwaggon without jumping on…
