Yesterday evening when I got home from work (dripping with sweat). The wifes out Tuesday eve’s (no thingy intended of course!
). Fish finger sandwiches in fresh Tiger Loaf bread with cold pasta’s and salad for supper with the kids.
Then all out into the garden, daughter practices the violin, son and I fix the fish pond pump. Then some impromptu balloon fun followed by some joint book keeping that my daughter wanted to have a go at ( :blink: ). Milk around the fish pond with a spritely working pump! Then bed…all with no bickerng!
We all enjoyed every last moment of it!
(sorry, just thought I’d share that
)
awe sounds great.
wish my son lived with me.
Great stuff, Its days like that which the kids’ll remember. Love it.
Summer days are to hot for me…but I do love the evenings!
My 10 year old was in a production of Bugsy Mallone last night as a gangster. He shot people with party spray.
I am one very proud Dad this morning
The Enemy (Mrs Shando) was up in Jockistan on a jolly last weekend leaving me with my 2 brats both teenagers. Took youngest to the cinema and messed around the rest of the day, then watched the lightning from the balcony with them both and some online gaming. Got up on Sun morning to find 1st born had smoked all my fags then emptied my wallet to go out with his mates. Kids, who’d 'ave 'em!
Fish Finger sarnies with ketchup ROCK!!! I want one now, gah!
Twas really good. They were both happy to act like brother and sister instead of trying to agg each other and compete.
Life throws up these moments and we should take the time to appreciate and savour them. They’ll come a time when these times will be gone.:crying:
I got asked this evening about why I still ride bikes after breaking my leg when I fell off That Bike last year. Its the same sort of thing. Only less painful when it goes wrong!
I’d have got a skelped arse if I had done that to my dad. A serious ‘hot bot’! I’d have never even contemplate doing that!
