Went to hotpon and on the way there was a town called avesbury…its was like mini stonehenge and the was is a pub there which I think is a popular bike meet…as I passed lot of bikers when I was getting out…
I just wanted to say the day was so beautiful today and sunny and that place looked so beautiful with flat fields etc it felt i was in spain or somewhere…does any one from swindon on this forum visit there?
Been there a couple of times now, took Tiggi there a couple of weeks back and she loved it, i’ll be visiting again next year :P:D

I have a friend in Uffington and have been to that pub a couple of times. Beautiful countryside and there are some really nice open roads around there too.
Avebury… yes I go there quite often, the roads from here to there are brilliant love the area. The pub’s good too, serves nice food but gets very busy oh and the wasps outside urghhhhhhhhhhh they are so annoying.
