Well we're back!

The first LB day out in the new season has ended as it began:

Same number of people and bikes (always good result)

Same cold and dark UK stages (albeit a dryer return leg)

It was a great day out, we have had adventures, fine meals, plenty of laughs, some spills, some encounters with the law, a bit of getting lost, a surprise attendee.

There’ll be plenty of pics (imagine me, Jay and Cezar with our cameras!!!) and a full report to follow.

But since most of us started the day at 4am, and have just rolled in (11ish) you’ll forgive us for not sorting it now.

Well even if you don’t, Match of the Day, the kettle, and a chocolate cookie are all taking priority.

Guys, Flick says thanks and she really enjoyed it and is home safe 'n sound.

Pictures! Pictures!!

I never got to say goodbye to anyone.

I skipped the Ashford pit stop and went straight home. Sorry guys!

Not sure anyone went TBH Steve. I think as soon as the ferry doors opened it was everyman for himself!

Cezar and I escorted Flick back into London so had a little convoy thang going on, but you guys were long gone. And considering it felt like -5 on the M20 I don’t blame you.

Hanger Lane had more road salt on it than I believed possible so I’m assuming you navigated it without any ‘moments’ LOL.

And the beer & cookie never tasted better.

LET BIKE WASHING COMMENCE !

I did the M20 to Lewisham, over Vauxhall Bridge, to the A4 home.

But the M20 within london was gritted very unevenly.

No momments to speak of, other than 30mins of shivering when I got home.

I just woke up but feel like go back to bed! It was an incredible time and I had loads of fun but I’m very traumatized with the cold! lol

Can’t wait for the pics…

Glad you all made it back safe, sorry to have missed it.

This marvellous ride out to France had everything:

Met some great new people, fab roads, lovely grub, an off, -->freezing temperatures, rain, sun, snow, a ticking off from the Gendarmerie (Ask Charly -->) a few interersting routes thanx to Charly’s new toy (Tomtom Rider), friendly local bars

and much, much more.

Thanx Charly, a great day out

No worries matey, great to have you’n yer missus on board now!

It was a great time indeed, my pics have been filtered and edited and are now (as I type) uploading to my site ready for Jay to pull down.

Welcome to LB guys! It was really nice to meet you there, sorry about “some” LB memebers filthy jokes eh? Er… I will tell him off myself… lol

Hope to see you guys on the next one again

Glad to see you guys back safe and sound! So, what was the gendarmerie moment about?

Pavi you better ask Charly. LOL The rest of use just sort of merged away, well far enough for the gendarmerie not to look at our bikes, ehh Cezar

I will place no comments neil! Just had a chat with our frriend JD and it won’t help much…lol

Hehehe you’re never far from your friends eh? LOL

Enjoy that warm feeling Cezar.

Morning everyone!

What’s better than a great day out with great people? Getting into work and then reading about it all over again!!!

Stopped off at Essential Rubber (garage in Islington - lovely, honest blokes in there) on way to work this morning and they’re ordering me a new wing mirror stikcing on attachement thingy (yes, I believe that is the technical name!) adn brake pedal, adn investigating handles as mine are ever so slightly bent now!

Thanks guys so much - I was bowled completely over by your kindness and consideration and patience. I hope I didn’t make the day too sedate for you

My ankle’s fine, jsut a little sore, but no worse than the rest of me from bracing against the wind all day!

I had an absolutely fantastic time, thanks so much for my convoy for the whole day - you guys really are all something special.

Have good days

Glad you and the SV are getting sorted and live to ride another day.

All that way with no fairing in those temps, brrrrr, I reckon even Ducati (fairings are for poofs) Pete would be struggling.

Hopefully the pics’ll be up soon and then the rest can share our day.

Where are the pics, we just cant wait anylonger!!!

Glad you enjoyed it Flick, don’t you love group riding,
everyone looks after each other.
Glad you are getting the bike sorted, not to much damage,
and no broken bones!!, always good.
A great day…

Glad you are ok Flick! It was an absolute pleasure ride with you! You did so well and was really brave as the weather wasn’t forgiven. Hope to see you on the next trip again…
