Good job on getting fit uncle, 14 stone isn’t to bad. my 14.8 but its all muscle lol.
now what you want to do is drink 2.5lt’s a day (you will pee alot lol)
start by doing 3 days light cardio for a couple of weeks because you will feel it if you decide to go hard core from the start. then start to do resistance traing to build muscle (should take some protein shake’s to help build muscle myprotein.co.uk, use code MP75843 for a 5% first order discount)
remember dont give up when it gets hard and keep on going.
need to cut all white carbs for brown e.g brown rice, brown bread.
lots of fruit and veg.
morning oats
mid morning protein shake and fruit
afternoon chicken in brown bread
mid afternoon protein shake and fruit
evening fish and veg
before bed protein shake
only protein when you start resistance training.

he gained a pound of muscle from 30mins of cardio? i’m afraid not ![]()
muscle doesn’t weigh more than fat incidentally. 1lb of fat = 1 lb of muscle. muscle just occupies less space as its more dense.
the only thing that you could have affected strongly in the 30mins would be relative levels of hydration. otherwise it is just the scales
