according to my tenancy agreement, I have to keep weeds at bay at my new place.
Don’t have a lawn as the landlord put crazy paving over it a while back. But some weeds have come back. What’s the best to just sprinkle liberally and do it’s job without me having to root them all out one by one?
I hate gardening more than anything in the world… I would rather remove my eyes with a rusty spoon!
Roundup is brand leader , applied at the right time when the plant is in foiliage but not yet seeded works very well indeed .

Are they poking up between the cracks of the paving? Pull the big ones up then use this

It’s not that at all, he’s used some sort of loose stones to cover the grass… they’re purpleish (not that the colour matters) and look like flat stones about 3-4cms long each…
Fire is a good one but I have a bad history with that
Burning Weeds is Quite effective but is more expensive
Any weed killer with glyphosate as the active ingredient should do you well
I have some Grade A weed killer As Hold A PA1 And PA6 Weed Spraying Licence thats allows me to own and purchase industrial weed killer

Sodium chlorate kills everything, if you can find somewhere that sells it. It was banned by the EU or something a few years ago but I’m sure I bought some in Wilkinsons last summer.
Not seen any Sodium Chlorate for years. Mix it with sugar and you get a really good explosion, probably why it was banned.
As previously mentioned - Roundup will do the job!

Any proprietary spray on weed-killer will work. But if you hate gardening then hire one of the flame-thrower type weed burners from your local plant hire place. It’s addictive and once you’ve done the weeds you’ll be wanting to zap anything and everything else in the garden… then any insects, trees, the wheelie-bin. Also works well for de-frosting the car or bike on a cold morning
Hmmm … try pure good old fashioned
COOKING SALT …either dilute (strong mix) or pure … pour on …
failing that search for amcide … ammonium sulphamate
