wat tyres are you running??????

on my bike @ the moment ive got bridgestone btoo2s these are track based tyres!! ive done 4 trackdays and another 1500 miles riding on road. the bloke i got them off had already put three 20 minute sessions(so he says!! could have done more)

on the track their so predictable, give you loads of feedback and compared to the dunflop 209s i had last year there awsome and i would deffinetly use them again.

it was pishing it down today and i tried to get them to spin up in the wet and they just gripped every time even managed to pull a wheelie(accidently!!!). very wet, puddles that looked like lakes

there is very little side gripe left;P:D:) and there almost on the wear limit so there due for changing got i got racetecs are waiting to go on.

I`ve got Bridgestone on the from and Michelin pilot sports on the rear.

I’ve still got the OE Dunlop’s on my SV. I think they were fashioned out of a lump of pure bakelite. They are rubbish. As soon as I wear them out (which won’t be long) I’ll be getting some Michelin Pilot Road 2s

I have a Michelin Pilot Race on the front and a Michelin 2CT on the rear, excellent grip and feel from both ends and they warm up reasonably quickly.

Those Michelins have a lot of fans, I may try them next time, though the new Dunlop RoadSmart sound pretty impressive. I use Avon AV55/56 on the VFR, excellent especially in the wet, 7000 miles on them and loads to go. Cheaper than Pilot Roads too.

I’ve got BT021s on at the mo - they’re grippy enough for most, but do have a tendency to move around a bit under power.

Previously had Avon Viper Sports on and they were fantastic - sticky as a sticky thing covered in glue, and lasted about 3500 miles, all for £133.

bike came with MAXXISS on it hadnt heard of them, but they warm up a treat stick like the proverbial to a blanket wet or dry, just a shade soft for heavy bike, need new rear in under 2 months and 3.5k :w00t: so getting 021 fitted this week hope that last longer !!

got dunlop qualifiers on the srad ok in the dry didnt like it in the wet round brands last night:w00t: (but it was like a river) The gullarm has bridgestones on and they didnt scare me in the wetwhen they are shot i will be getting M2cts on it as i had a set on the k3 gixer i had and they where great in the wet and dry

Metz Racetecs … try top avoid ridding when it’s wet …been there done that got the t shirt , 20 years as a courier was enough …

oh and it’s spelt “WHAT” tyres …

Pilot Powers…nuff said;)

Need a new front, '80s style. Can’t get all this fancy modern stuff in 110/90 so I’ve got an Avon Roadrider on order, hope it does the business.

Pirelli Diablo something or another.

No idea if they’re good, they were on the bike when I got it and can’t compare against anything else. The previous owner swears by them on all his bikes though.

Wouldn’t recommend what I’ve got frogga, don’t want these, terrible tyres, no good for track days at all, really evil handling hard as rock rubber they are, nothing to see here, move along

2ct front… pilot power rear…

going by the weather forecast you might need wellies for tomorrow …

I’ve not booked into this track day, next one is Cadwell next week  Hoping this wet period has passed by then. I feel for them though, Paddock hill is scarey enough in the dry let alone with a river running down it :w00t:
