The title of this post made me laugh. Apparently I am that immature.
I normally just stand over the sink…
I mean, most helmets have removable liners that velcro in…a very delicate machine wash or a wash by hand would then clean them.
isnt the liner removable? i use Johnsons baby shampoo to wash mine love it!
What helmet do you wear?
11 months is a very long time to wear a helmet. How do you eat?
Have you tried to Frebreeze it.
Retract the skin gently, and don’t use any harsh soaps. :D:D:D:D:D
LoL me too… I just spat on my screen with laughter…my colleagues must really worry…:w00t:
LMAO!!! filthy minds!!! I didnt even clock on to that, think im really slow :w00t:
Get a towel and fold it up and place in the bottom of bath, and place helmet upside down on it, this will stop you scratching the outside, take off visor, pour some Johnsons baby shampoo into it (cos it is very gentle and smells sooo good) and spray with water from shower building up a lather, once you have done this for a minute or two, use the shower head to spray it clean, will proably take about 5-10 minutes depending how heavy handed you were with the shampoo, so just rinse til the water runs out free of shampoo, push what excess water you can from the spongey bits and then get a dry clean towel and place the helmet the right way up and leave somewhere warm to dry, this will take at least 24 hours to dry
End result = no stinky helmet

Sounds good but is it really necessary to use that much water? I mean, running the shower for ten minutes on your helmet seems a bit excessive ;):w00t:
Depends how dirty it is and how much you rub it
2-3 minutes is probably enough
Get it circumsised, it’s cleaner. . .
Would that be an open face helmet?

:P:D
Superbike did an article about this and I gave it a go.
Remove the visor and any removable lining.
Clean it in the shower using shampoo on the inside. Cringe as a the water turns black.
Let it dry naturally (usually takes a day) and clean the vents with a tooth brush.
Re assemble.
The results are pretty good.
