washing machine/dryer dilema

does anyone know how to get the dryer function working on a hoover combo? :w00t:

done a wash, theres so many symbols and numbers on it, but no instruction book…

apparently the others in the house only use it to wash, and ony use number “5”!

I think ive already inadvertantly sent the wash on another soapy spin by pressing the wrong buttons :w00t:

Working from home going well then?

kinda funny really.using a complex cad program, producing technical drawings for shop fitouts, but i cant work a washing machine! any women around? :w00t:

google the model number u will find a manual online

first thing i thought off, but model number has wore away.

I think ive figured it out… door feels warm which is a good sign, but its locked me out :w00t:

lunch break :hehe:

LOL yeah mine also didnt come with an operator. Sorry cant help with your query but if all else fails turn the central heating back on open the windows and drape you jocks and socks over the rads. One layer only and if you give them a shake before hand you wont have to iron either.

Have you tried the Hoover website for instructions.

Some might say you never have known what buttons to press Steve;)

The girlfriend would disagree :stuck_out_tongue:

Not what she told me:P:D

Well ask her advice on the washing machine then. Women are much cleverer than chaps at that sort of thing:)

girlfriend aint here

latest update:

heat coming from machine, but it aint spinning. opened door, lots of steam poured out and clothes still damp, so had to resort to hanging them!

housemate came home, and told me dryer never works right anyway. Apparently they are also ‘green’ and dont want to waste the electric. flippin hippies. i just wana zap the clothes and dry them, anyone used the microwave?

Microwave will probably melt the elastic in your smalls

well dude I know the feeling…

not only can I not understand our space age washing machine, but we just bought a new tumble dryer but it is not one of those turn dial switch on jobs any more ooooooo no, so now I cannot work out how to use the washing machine of the bloody tumble dryer!!!

technology can be great, but not for the sake of it, why do they needa over complicate things? :hehe:

Pardon?

did you not hear me chunky? i said TECHNOLOGY CAN BE GREAT, BUT NOT FOR THE SAKE OF IT, WHY DO THEY NEEDA OVER COMPLICATE THINGS?:P:P:P my apologies, i keep forgetting theres old folk on here who cant read the screen properly :w00t:

Sorry mate, no I haven’t seen your bike keys;)

We had one of those at Uni. As I recall there are something like 3 cycles on the big dial. The dryer will kick in after the cycle so if you set the dryer timer to 60 minutes then after the cycle it will kick in. If you want it to dry only then turn the cycle dial till it’s between cycles and then the dryer will kick off. Et vola.

Failing that post pictures of the facia and I’ll figure it out from those.
