You get a wireless modem on loan from them for the time of contract.
I got mine installed a couple of days ago and its rapid. I have seen downloads of over 17Mbps per second & uploads of 1.3Mbps. Good for thoes movie download pepole.
Get an idea of the speed i downloaded a 255MB file from microsoft in just over 2mins and i uploaded a 16MB file in about 2mins.

I’d be interested to know how you get on mate, and any problems you have etc. I’ve been watching bethere for a while, they had some problems early on but seem to be doing ok now.
My exchange was upgraded a couple of months ago and I keep meaning to sort this out. In reality I think I’ll get 10 or 12Mb with the distance to the house but still thats feckin quick.
Hopefully the modem router I already is capable of handling the connection.
Dont worrey about the router as they lend you one for the life of your contract. A Speedtouch 716 wireless & voip modem.
I have set up the voip on the router and plugged in a standard telephone into it and works fine even when the computer is off.
The speed is fast, there is the odd time the box resyncs but its early days for me and my exchange (New Cross).
Its very fast though.
If you do downdload movies, use Peer Guardian, it blocks the IP adresses of film companies who seed their latest movies in order to trace the downloaders…and dodgy pornsters who leave nasty trojans in webpages you accidentally open…
I downladed an entire film through binaries, a 1cd Divx movie took less than 20mins, i could not go any faster because i paid for a limted ammount of server connections on my binaries host.
I’m not jealous, honest!
