I had the enduro version as a loan bike, and I thought it was awesome. But … I must admit I was a bit disappointed with the power delivery. After having been mocked on the XT660X for ages people saying it’s underpowered, I was expecting a bit more. Stock, I don’t think there’s more “usable” power than my XT had. But I’m sure adding an open exhaust and opening up the air box would make a difference.

they have had that duke two for a long wile now

if you start waving some cash at them i bet you could knick it at a good price…it looks like its been in the weather for at least a year

KTM 690 SMC is just fantastic bike. Very direct power and torque, excellent handling on shitty roads. 2010 and 2011 models with bonus of tubeless wheels, two years warranty and 4500 miles service intervals.

So I went to KTM to see the bike today and yes I loved it but I’ve decided spending £6795 and not liking the supermoto style a bit OTT, I think I’ll look out for a secondhand supermoto for around £2000 and then upgrade later if I like it.Anyone got a nice supermoto for sale for 2k?Where should I be looking for bike for sale? eBay Gumtree don’t have much.

I realy like the look of the 2001 KTM 520, I think I’ll keep looking till one comes up.
