it wasnt a very good weekend, for us at least.we only got 15 mins of track time on saturday afternoon. The weather was very bad 3 people went out in the morning and all came off.all track time was cancaled on sunday morning and they where going to let us know at midday if we could go out in the afternoon.(but by then i had enough to cold to wet)not sure what the afternoon was like havent spoke to the other guys yet.there was only two other KTMs there, but we were holding our own with them(the short time we had on track)but one of the bikes keeps cutting out when on full throttle which is doing our heads in.
unfortunatly the guys from BRACKEN wernt a lot of help “they didnt have there laptop” but ha ho we will have to get the bike back to them to have a look.
any way still had fun being involved with all this.its new to us all.by the way look out for the MOTO DEVELOPMENTS team if you at any of the rounds.GAV
I imagine a lot of teams were hacked off, but what can anyone do? The MSS Kawasaki boys were having snowball fights yest morning FFS, no-one would have thought that would be the case on Easter Bank hol
Hi all Simon here the very cold rider from the photo, well as Gav said it really was bloody freezing at Snett but we were kept going with copious amounts of tea and far too many biscuits. Update on the bike, I took it over to Bracken yesterday and the lads there were really helpful so a big thank you to them, they plugged it into the laptop and found an air pressure sensor fault. This was reset so fingers crossed it will cure the problems. We’re testing with KTM at Silverstone on Friday so if there’s still any gremlins they’ll have all the latest maps and diagnostic equipment to sort it out. Thanks to Gavin and Alan for coming down on what can only be described as the worst weather you’d want to be in at a race circuit.
