“The only reason I’m selling is that I really can’t stand Piaggio any more. They make the worlds finest Scooters by miles, but the hierachy fail to return telephone calls, pay our regular and sizable bonus payments on time, and this has been happening for over two years, during which time I’m slowly going mad.”
I hope nobody buys it, im not being nasty as i recon as a dealer and service place its one of the best and if its sold to someone else it won`t be the same.
I’d hope this chap has done this for publicity – which may well work if a national paper or news organisation gets hold of the story – he’ll suddenly have his bonuses paid and Piaggio could turn the PR around to show themselves in a good light. Good luck to him!
That’d be Derek - a good mate. He and I bought the first two Fuoco’s to become available to the general public, within minutes of each other.
JT is definitely serious about selling up, Piaggio would have to do an amazing turn-around to get him to keep the franchise, and he won’t consider dealing with any other makes. The service department will stay, as that is now turning a profit in its own right for the first time in years.
