Always get my tyres there and never had a problem. Good prices too. What was your issue with them Daniel- seemed all good to me?
**** customer service and damaging bikes (yes plural). Not to mention they aren’t cheaper as LBers get 10% off the already low Essential Rubber prices.
Dan did they damage your bike or was it hear say?
It was my mate’s bike. Not being funny but if your mate goes in for tyres and comes out with scratched rims your not going to go in after him are you?
From where you are you could try Motorcycle Tyres UK at Horold Hill, down the A12 and turn right at the Harold Wood/Harold Hill split ( the last split before the M25 towards Brentwood). You can find them on Internet or Yell 
I’ve used them for years and great bunch and know there stuff while still being competitive with there prices.

+1 - always top service and got me a great deal on Michelin Road Pilot 3s - got them cheaper than what Essential Rubber were charging
By the sounds of it, it would be cheaper to buy online and get yourself down to OMC for fitting!

I live about 100 miles from london and even i use them. Never had them fit a tyre but i always get them from there as they are the cheapest ive found anywhere
Just to add that I went down to FWR last week.
They fitted a new front tyre, carefully eased my chain adjuster that had seized (and warned me there could be some discolouring of the swing arm as they had to heat it up to get the thing to budge- there wasn’t but nice of them to warn me), checked my front pads and finding they were okay gave them a nice clean up. All done for £130 while I waited. An excellent fitter/mechanic and great customer service imho.

+4 FWR have been my tyre fitters all except once I went to somewhere nearby I wont say who and they wrecked my gsxr rims taking all the paint off.
Took my Mille there recently for new tyres got a good deal with cash back and my oz rims stayed flawless
