tuning standard ecu on my gsxr k7

you may need the O2 elimanator but thats only £20 odd from cresent suzuki to get rid of the lean running between 4500rpm and 6250 rpm but rhalf can get hold of them and the tunning box rhalf has had a switch to turn to get on each cylinder one at a time

how did sbk get on with your beast gizza?

just ordered my k&n, so will be down to sbk’s soon…

rhalf has worked wonders with it it:D feels more urgent through the rev range and he has stoped the on/off throttle feeling in slow traffic in 2nd gear, there is still a small lean spot to sort out but a sensor elimanator was ordered from cresent to sort this issue out and hopefully it will be at sbk on monday morning and rhalf will make the final adjustments then, but it feels so much nicer to ride instant responce to throttle input and it pulls massive wheelies even easier than it did before:w00t: and the surge after 8k is great very addictive:D, I will post a final assesment and dyno graph when its completed but that should be this week some time

Hi everyone I just wanted to let you all know that we just got in a new software/hardware the BIKE TECH SUZUKI TUNER from Probike this machine is far better than the Yoshi box and is the new technology in tuning the standard Suzuki ECU’s we at SBK welcome anybody that is waiting to get they bikes remmaped to book yours asap cheers.

cool piece of kit

That was a bit of a harsh response towards Rhalf wasnt it? Not exactly taking the p*ss offering free dyno runs and keeping people updated with new equipment is it?

Bad day yesterday, all sorted out now. Rhalf knows we love him really.

Cool

i should be getting mine done with it tomorrow so will post up the before and after dyno and fuel mapping charts :D:D

just got back from rhalfs because he got a different tunning box he now has the bike tech one which plugs in to a pc and is a bit more comprehensive than the yoshi box and the bike feels even better than before as the fueling is spot on and the power curve is a straight line no dips and in 1st and 2nd gear the front is like a pogo stick it wheelis so easy and it has instant throtle response no matter where the needle is, and for the price it beats the power commander route, its now making 152.46 rwbhp and 80.1 ft lb of torque so im hapy the blue line is yoshi box remap and the red line is bike tech remap,

so correct me if i’m wrong, the biketech efi ecu tuning software has only moved the fuel line down and not changed the characteristics of it ???

im guessing the blue line is how it was originally and the red is the tuned line…?

if so its still not between the markers? so im guessing its still not perfect?

thanks for posting it all up gizza, much appreciated

dan

red line is indeed the after map and the very slight lean spot between 5200rpm and 6400rpm is only .4/.5 above the upper 14 AF line but you can’t feel it on the road at all look at the power graph it has filled in the hole in the delivery and the torque curve in this area that it had before, and mine doesnt have an o2 sensor only the newer models with the cat have the sensor (thanks cresent could have told us before when we spoke to them) i don’t have the money for a pc/custom map and this remap has gone a long way to sort out the delivery and fueling and with 80ft lb or torque thats as much as the newer model gixxer thous are making, I am more than happy with it and thats what counts and its much easier to ride slowly now through trafic its not so jerky and the on/off throtle feeling has gone, and now huge minging wheelies are so much easier to pull off, imo if you can’t afford a pc3 and have a race pipe and filter fitted its worth getting this done, and we had great fun doing it at the time cheers rhalf

souds good to me mate, well i need to save up a few quid, then decide what i want to do!

thanks alot for everyones replys on this message and a special thank you to the messages from gizza and rhalf.

cheers guys!
