A friend is flying into Luton at the weekend and has an onward flight 4 hours later from Gatwick.
What is the most straightforward way to transfer between the airports (apart from taxi) and time 3 costs involved.?
Thanks

time + costs
I’m sure you can get a train direct between the two … will check.
Train direct from Luton Airport to London Bridge, London Bridge direct to Gatwick.
you’ll have to check the times but this will probably be the cheapest for you mate.
Some info here
bus cheapest but 4 hours is cutting it very very fine…bus will take at least 2 hours I would have thought, it must be over 90 miles…trains will be safest given the current weather, if they are running, taxi by far the quickest if all is well…but 4 hours if he makes it he will be a very very lucky man…sorry to sound negative but I have done interconnects from all sorts of places and you either have way too much time or not enough…and this sounds like border line not enouigh…good luck let us know how he gets on…
The First Captial Connect train will take him all the way to Gatwick, may have to change at Farringdon.
Check to see if the trains are running though, as there is a different service on a Saturday due to engineering works
Thanks guys…sorted. Was able to find a Malev flight from Budapest to Gatwick arriving 8.30 . Perfect.
And it was cheaper then the “budget” airlines:)
