you mean, in 88 you were young and life was better for you! how much clubbing and raving have you done these days? Its still going on in a big way.
ditto. when i listen to 87 and 88 club tunes now they really make me laugh, there’s still a lot of decent house and techno out there these days.
maybe rather than looking for a club in particular, you should follow dj’s you like.
we went to see above & beyond in brixton, it was amazing. deadmou5e gig in central london was pretty cool too.
the south west 4 in the summer is pretty decent, prices have gone up though.
What is still going on? Outdoor illegal raves? Warehouse parties? Thousands of people driving round the country…?
Or getting on a plane to Ibiza, paying 50 for a party and watching some bloke shag his misses on a stage whilst the music booms out 
Probably nostalgia, but once it all went mainstream, it sold out imho.
There are still illegal raves out there, it’s just we’re too old to know about them now 
Not that I was attending a lot of raves in '88, what with school, karate and swimming lessons I was a bit busy

I’m keen for some more trancey/ deep house stuff, I can’t dance, but who cares, dark spaces and flashing lights cover that up ha
