Need to get some new track fairings for a ZX6R (2001), anyone know of any good places to pick some up please?

The ones listed on ebay didn’t look that good, well the few we saw, might be an idea to actually see the product before purchase ;)

what about the usual online accesories shops, dont they sell pattern parts ?

I can get you a quote on a set, Tiggi - do you want coloured resin or just white? Also - do you want fairings that are moulded off the road fairing, or do you want to know what other fairings will fit it with a bit of jiggery pokery?

Cool, thanks, it is black at the mo and I would like the replacement ones to be black as well, could you get me a quote for both if thats possible?

Thanks for all the other links guys, will check them all out

Will do. Hope youre not in a hurry

Tiggi, if your existing fairings are just tatty and damaged (I know Ricky rode it at Silverstone  ) like mine were then you can fix them up with a bit of fiberglass kit from Halfrauds. They sell a kit for about £10 with some matting and the resin, I fixed a number of cracks and splits in mine, used the matting to replace some bits that had been knocked out and a bit of resin on the mounting points to reinforce them.

Doesn’t look brilliant but with a bit of sanding then some black spray paint you’d be surprised at how good it can look. Total cost was maybe £40 and a couple of days work and they are fine for track now, wouldn’t win a beauty contest but Frogga is buying it in a few weeks so it’ll be on its side on the track again shortly ;):stuck_out_tongue:

Found this shop on ebay :

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/MOTORCYCLE-CARBON-COMPONENTS_KAWASAKI_ZX-6R-Ninja_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ15257521QQftidZ2QQtZkm

looks good and has lots of good feedback and is reasonably priced

cant get you one from my usual bloke - gonna try another contact next week

Looks great as long as you don’t have a 2001 ZX-6;):stuck_out_tongue:
