Hiya, sorry, sure this has been done to death but I can’t find it, am female remember?!
Who does track days with bike hire, all I seem able to find is track days. I don’t want to smash my Fazer up just yet and having watched the MZs race at the weekend I’m definitely giving that a go (after a track day if possible). Ideally, looking at Brand’s as that is the closest.
Any ideas? Any views?
Anybody fancy coming? This will be my first, so any other novice wanting to join, you’ll be very welcome!
Focusedevents.com will be able to help you Andrea and im one of their Senior instructor so if youre at any of the events im on ill be sure to look after you
Focused are also one of the adopted partners to LB. I understand that there is a discount on bike hire and first timers on track, all the datails are on their website.
Ive posted up the dates im on in the trackday section. Any problems just ask
Good on you wanting to get on track, itll improve your skills and youll love it
Whoa go girl !!! And you’d be fine on the Fazer - you’re not the type to jump on someone else’s bike and thrash it without a care are you? And I’d make sure you know what you’d have to pay if you crashed one. I suspect the idea of handing over a few hundred pounds and the keys wouldn’t be the end of it should you mangle their R6 etc.
B, had a look on your site and spoke to a nice lady who gave me further info. I thought I’d get a hire bike in case I bin it, but might do it on my bike. Will probably join you on 23 April as I have that day off.
Im not booked to be on track on the 23rd April, my only date in April is on the 9th at Silverstone and ill be looking after Shewoolf. So you`ll have to fight her for it
I will be at Brands on the 5th June if that`s any good for you?
Its a tricky one on which bike to use, the schools bikes will be unfamiliar and i believe it can be costly, as Andrew says, if you bin it. Id be inclined to suggest you to use your own, youll be familiar with it and youll discover the potential of your own bike which will translate better when you`re back on the road with it.
No problem at all mate, it`s always good to get an idea of what is available. The main thing is helping riders improving their skills and this can be done at any track
I would add that tuition from an instructor is necessary IMO as techniques can be learnt and confidence developed from practicing them and getting an understanding on what is happening beneath you as a result of your input.
Ahhh, now booked 23 April at Brands, can’t make 9 April and Lydden is quite a bit further away then Brands, anyway don’t think they race MZs at Lydden (so trying to get a sneaky practice in first). Butterflies in tummy now, jurassic ones.
Red just book up and your more than welcom to join us in the LB garage
You will Have to ride up if you dont have a van, i think everyone is full up.
But i think there is a few riding up so if you can get a place just post up in the thread in the trackday section and im shure we can sort out hooking you up with others riding up…
