Bit naughty of him, but its life, people say things that some people don’t like. Then I read in the paper yesterday that there are certain people out for his blood and want him sacked. Bit extreme in my opinion and I’m pretty sure those people aren’t completely innocent with remarks they’ve made through life.
I know he shouldnt of said what he said, but it wa in jest as he always comes out with stuff like that. I bet the people who complained werent even truck drivers just busy bodies who have nothing better to do with there lifes.
Apparently alot of truckers found it funny and took in jest, it was other people who complained, I just took it as a joke, as we all know that he opens his mouth before engaging brain!
You’re obviously correct about the joke, but Clarckson is way to smart for it to be an off the cuff gaff. He is a master of controversy. All his books are full of the same, and the fact we’re discussing him yet again shows just how much he is controlling us;) As a motoring scribe he is in a league of one, thats for sure.
Although a fuss was made but no where as big when he made the comments about putting wires across roads to chop motorcyclists heads off. shows how much the public/press care about us.
Clarkson is boring, i watcxhed the new top gear and it seems he has to make a quirky remark evertime about everthing, about as boring and predictable as Gordon Ramsey saying fvck.
Again this is just the same bunch of people with nothing better to do but write letters to moan about the slightest things! some people wont be happy unless all there is on TV is Church & wild life programes, but I bet they would still moan the the tiger “had attitude”
