I have had a problem with my rider switching itself on and off whilst on the move.

I have found that the docking station security bolts that hold the mounting plate to the docking connector has started to crack in the recess around the top 2 bolts.

This allows the back plate to flex and in turn disconnects the 4 point connector.

I have spoken to TomTom on their UK contact number and they have arranged for UPS to pick it up for repair. They are quote 4-5 days turn round.

Mine’s Okay at the moment. I’ll keep an eye on it though.

I’ll be interested to see if I can get a new mount although mines never been on the bike yet ( since the accident STILL isn’t sorted ) , but I think it’s going to have to go back as it locks up all the time in the car especially coming out of tunnels and since we go through the blackwall tunnel everyday that’s a bit of an issue !
