I have just purchased a Tom Tom rider 400 which I gather, but could be wrong about, is the European version of the 40.
Having borrowed one last year I was proper impressed with the user friendliness. The ability to share routes via Bluetooth and the fact that I dropped it several times and it didn’t break. It also connect to my phone. It’s easy to import routes marked out on google maps and comes with a free subscription to Tyre. Also easy to read in bright conditions.
I have no real comparison to other sat navs but it fulfils my needs well. As it’s also the outgoing model it has dropped considerably in price. I can’t really see what improvements are in the newer model.
