Thinking about changing my bike and have seen the Tiger for sale. Wondered whether anyone had any thoughts about this model?

I had the previous version - a 2012 Tiger 800 - for 85K miles and thought it was brilliant. I wrote this about common issues:
The big “standard” problems on that era (failing starter motor, jamming idle stepper motor, shitty suspension) are all fixed in the 2016 one. They make great touring bikes and surprisingly fun trail bikes.
