No medals for getting cold and wet in this game;)
I also an a fully paid up member ;)Company car with fuel paid for makes sure of that :DAs well as having an Italian bike that would probably sh1t itself if it saw rain ![]()
I have ridden in -22 temperatures in Switzerland (allbeit a short ride) and have even been known to ride in the snow after just having 2 new tyres put on (Afro can verify this if need be) so I was proud to be an all weather rider.
However, i must admit that, the older I get the more cautious im becomming when it comes to when I ride. Having said that, my kit is pretty good so it would have to be bloody terrible out there to put me off:)
I test road the new CBR 600 RR in the snow storm on Easter Monday, does that count to all weather riding? ![]()
hmm, pretty sure you can.
I don’t see what the problem is with being a FWR. Cleaning the bike is just a pain in the arris, and being cold is no fun!! If I didn’t have any other form of transport and it was choice between bike and public transport the bike would win but as I do have another option - I’ll use it!
I have heard about this public tranport thing, is that the one people use when they are going on the p1ss? ![]()
er?? I thought they were called taxis :hehe:

some excellent posts there Tug :doze:
I’ve had the joy have having to use public transport again due to bike being stolen and all that. I’d take the option of using a bike anyday, even having to clean her etc… The weather is not such an issue if your gear is up to it.
If having the choice of using a car in the wet, cold, slippy weather makes us FW then so be it, bet we did a few more miles than most last year on the bike and all those would be for pleasure not necessity
Was it fun riding through hideous traffic, getting wet and cold going to BMM on Wednesday? No

It seems to be where some people go to take a p1ss
Your not a FWR a fair weather camper may be.
:w00t:
Well chaps:)
Just home from having a blast for a couple of hours down the lanes and up to Saffron Walden and back in lovely conditions and relatively light traffic.
If the choice is between that and sitting in the traffic of rush-hour London on a wet and windy Wednesday night with a misted up visor and surrounded by myopic cagers and kamikaze scooters, I know which one I’d choose all day long;)
Funny how the vast majority of the mickey takers don’t have the option of a car. if they did, would they feel the same way I wonder ginger?;)
