I’m going to take a few months out in autumn next year to fulfil a long held dream of riding all round India on an old Enfield. Might even send the pics in reportage style.

god, that looks incredible… £2,000 entry fee and… how much else do you guys thing would be needed? absolute minimum of another £1,000 i’m guessing…
about £3,500 to get the most of it… i’ll start saving for gumball 2010 i think
you only need fuel and beer and snack in the day money. reckon no more than 2 tanks a day would suffice. they are into making it more enjoyable by keeping the mileage down this year.
Done a similar thing in my car & it was brilliant - one of the best things I’ve ever done, go for it!

You also need loads of money to pay hefty Euro fines by police.
