Nick at All Bikes, who are trying to sort the fork leg, was worried about the external colour of the fork leg if it can be welded. I sent him the above picture and suggested the aesthetics wouldn’t be an issue. His reply was: “Ah, I see what you mean”
One of my fears if the fork do need to be replaced is that different forks may change the character of the bike?:ermm:
