Have we completely run out of steam artistically and culturally in the 21st century? Why can’t people come up with new ideas for films and music instead of endlessly rehashing the cultural output of the late 20th century?
I’ve seen the Rocky Horror show - I don’t need to see a retread! It looks like I’m gonna have to start coming up with new ideas and making the films myself as the entertainment industry has obviously completely run out of them.
I bet they will try and remake The Great Escape soon.
That will really seriously pee me off

It’s horrible, the original and the remake will be horrible too. What a wierd film, never understood it.
But such classic scenes like when Mrs Lopsided says to Frankinfurter “you were only supposed to blow the bleeding doors off”.
They don’t make like that anymore, and it’s not at all camp.
Also Nightmare on Elm Street, with Billy Bob Thornton as Kruger.
