The Riding Game

This has been borrowed from SupermotoJunkie.com (thanks gots_a_sol)
RULES:

• Take a pic of your bike to satisfy the current specific challenge.

  • If it says a pic in front of a sign with “No Motorized Vehicles” one that just says “No Vehicles” will NOT work.
  • If it says a pic in a drive thru, a McDonald’s will work as well as a bank because the poster didn’t specify it.

• Post a SPECIFIC next challenge. Make it something accomplishable NOT something ridiculous. That will slow down the game for everyone. The idea is to ride, take a picture, post it and move on not stage a performance art piece or taunt your local police.
Put the new challenge in a separate post and add a description in the ‘tags’ section.

• Remember this is an all inclusive game. Make your challenge something the majority of members, regardless of location, engine displacement or PTW (Powered Two Wheeler) configuration (bikes, scooters etc) can accomplish so we get the participation of as many people as possible, we should promote that type of play.

• There will be disagreements about whether challenges have been met or were specific enough. The original poster has the first right to determine whether his/her challenge has been met. If we cannot come to a logical conclusion by that method the originator of the game (garret aka. Mightlife) is final referee. It’s a dirty job but we have to have someone in this position or it will just be endless flaming arguments here. In the unlikely event we cannot get a timely judgement by referee, a vote by three players can be made to wait for “judgement” by referee or “play on”.

• In the event a challenge has stalled the game, 36 hours will be the limit of it’s duration. After that time limit the person who suggested it can either do it themselves or suggest a new next challenge. If they don’t reply in 12 hours then the previous winner gets to pick the new next challenge.

• Archived photos CANNOT be used. After the challenge has been posted you have to go out and get a NEW photo to satisfy it.

Notes:
Keep all posts that are not concerned with The Riding Game, iti’s challenges and responses to an absolute minumum. It only confuses things when there are unecessary posts and people have posted fake/ humourous challenges. Let’s keep this one on topic and keep the game moving! ;)Make sure you check (the lasts few posts) this thread frequently so you know what the next challenge is and if anyone has met (or attempted to meet) a challenge you posted and is looking for your approval. Again, this is to keep the game interesting and keep it moving along. If you repost a challenge - quote the original! If you need to edit your challenge, make it clear exactly what the change is.
Despite the above notes - everyone is welcome to participate in The Game!

It’s pretty simple. Anyone participating in this thread automatically agrees to these rules and must abide by them regardless of their personal opinion. Anyone who cannot abide by them may feel free to withdraw from the game.

For example -
Challenge: bike close to a public transport bus. (see attachment) I have completed it and make the next challenge.

Next challenge: your bike with someone in their work clothes/ uniform giving a thumbs up. Pic must be taken with the workplace in the shot (e.g. outside McD’s or whatever)

Come on!

Today’s project folks!

Am I going to have to do this one?

Bonus point if it’s a policeman outside a Nick!

bugger if i would of thought about it today i could of got the nice copper who pulled me over to sit of my bike

Yes, and the only thing you should further contribute to this thread is your silence.

@ Ross - there’s always tomorrow morning, the time is up at 11am

@ Kevsta - What is that supposed to mean?

Are you playing the game?

Okay my challenge is for any folks to take a picture of Ian Beale sitting on their beloved machine (failing that any of the Eastenders cast will do)

If you are not a UK resident, eg live in Australia, a Neighbours character will do instead - or whatever is the most popular trashy soap opera in your country of residence.

It must be a picture of a real person sitting on your bike - photoshop will not be allowed nor will anyone dressed up as Ian Beale do either.

Will that do as a next step?;)

Hehe, cool.

If the current challenge hasn’t been completed by 11am tomorrow morning, this would be a suitable follow-up, however, perhaps the scope of actors/ famous people could be widened a bit (whilst remaining specific).

Hels, please repost a slightly more accessible challenge (I’m not sure if soap opera actors are allowed out in the fog) then it will stand as the next one from the time you post.

Okay. This one should be easy -

Photo of the bike in front of a sports stadium with the team logo somewhere in the frame (e.g. outside one of the gates of Stamford Bridge).

I’ll get this nailed on the way home from work tonight…if someone doesn’t beat me to it…

Does it have to be a team you like?

Arsenal are at home to Dortmund tonight, so had to use my powers of persuasion on stewards/police to let me down the closed road in front of the ground! Quick hop off, snap, and on again, hence the quality.

I’d like to see a snap of an LB’s bike, with a dog (animal variety) sitting on it.

That’s the spirit son!!

updated rules.

I added - “Put the new challenge in a post and add a description in the ‘tags’ section.”

Current challenge (from beebster): I’d like to see a snap of an LB’s bike, with a dog (animal variety) sitting on it.

Is there a new thread for the new challenge??

This is it. Just post your photo here and then another post with the new challenge.

Now get dogging or whatever

Is this good enought…

as for my choice i let someone else chose

It’s up to the person who posted the challenge to decide, but it looks fine to me!

Go on! Think of something mad, but do-able

Absoulutely good enough. Text book photo of a dog on a bike.
