Where’d they go?
Last week I was talking to them on the phone about an MOT, today the shutters are down, the web site’s offline and there’s a ‘shop to let’ sign on the wall.
Another dealer down?

I was in Harpers on Saturday and heard them mention that it had now closed. It’s not a good time out there at the moment
Wait for a few more to go.
Heard that one of the big London bike dealers needs to turn over £ quarter mill. a month, after discounting, just to stay afloat.
They did not manage anything like that over the last quarter.
I bought my Tuono from them but Southern Cross are much better for servicing, and I trust them more.
It all depends how much money people owe and how fast they get paid If you have cash in the bank and a reasonable level of turnover then hopefully you can ride out the recession (that’s what I keep telling myself about my own business).
