TAILEND SHOW

Hey! Is anyone going to the Tailend show in Peterbrough?? and what days they are going?? I think i am going on the Sunday. Not to sure.

Anything to look out for?? this is the first time i’m going.

I was supposed to be going up for the Sat, possibly the weekend with a couple of friends, but as usual, the week of the show, nobdy is commiting to going and making excuses!

I might just go up for the day as im after a particular jacket i KNOW will be discounted there, and i might just pick up a few bits for the bike whilst im up there too…

Fingers crossed I can get in on the cheap if i display my bike on the Bandit Owners Club stand, but hat will require a VERY early start for me!!

Id say the best bet was to take a good chunk of folding cash with you as there are some VERY good deals to be had - Ive picked up £300+ of leathers for less than £100!

Depends what your afte really, but its a goo way to waste a day and get a bit of bike related shopping in too.

If you going up on the Sat, PM me and maybe we can catch up for a coffee

J

I forgot all about that, ill see if im free.

Yup! I’ll be working on the trackday stand, so come and see me

when is it? this weekend or next?

well us londonbikers like riding our bikes and are going on a RIDE OUT on Sunday, so i have to go to the show on saturday, not like somebody who just blows us out to go shopping with her mate, now where is that video camera.

Yes dad!I can’t come no matter how many time you keep telling me about it!! I do really want to though…You told the others what roles they are doing then??? lol.

err, err, err, shhhhh

I may be going up on Saturday following the KillSpills ride to Downing Street. The run is due to stop at Downing Street and then continue up to Peterborough. Only limited to 100 people though, so not a “turn up and go” event like previous years.

i might be going as well. Never been before, can you buy locks, covers at the show?

Not been to a “Tailender” but you can buy stuff you didn’t even know you needed at most BMF shows and huge discount sometimes.

But factor in the petrol and admission charge and you need to do some reasonably serious buy to get your money back. That said, there are some serious bargains and folding stuff can talk on some stands.

Is Aldi a serious alternative to Waitrose for vegetables? Any discounts for “folding stuff”?

From my experiences, Aldi is a serious alternative to a proper shop.

Well what a lovely sunny weekend it was up at the Tailend show in Peterborough

I sold a few trackdays, caught the sun, nearly got into a fight Saturday evening with a very pi££ed girl (she was hellbent on getting to the front to see the rather buff Mr Toseland and his band “Crash”. AND… I managed to see a few LBers who popped over to see me yesterday. No I still haven’t cleaned my bike

I hope the people that went managed to grab a few bargins?

Hey sorry i didn’t come over and see you, for the life of me, i couldn’t remember what stand you were on (even though my mate did go over to the trackday stand!).

Was pretty disappointed with the amount of girl leathers on offer - which was all about non!! But did manage to get a few bargin items.

No worries sweetie  I didn’t find much for me either but there is always the Birmingham Bike show…

I must have been standing near you! We stuck our elbows out to stop a pissed girl (actually a pissed large woman) pushing through - there wasnt really anywhere for her to go and I didnt want to move backwards when my shitty camera was already struggling to focus on JT from 10metres! The weather was great though.

Too funny! What a small world. Said pissed girl decided to practically stand on me and then decided to pour her drink down my legs in the hope that I would move. Sadly I didn’t.

Hmm…can see why you were fecked off! Nothing worse than someone spilling drink on you, especially if you’re camping and its cold out!

Y’know, I kept thinking that this event was something involving Daytona J in a state of deshabille… over-active imagination only, unfortunately.
