I really like the look of these too. Saw one all kitted up for touring a couple of months back and it looked like it would munch a lot of miles quite happily.
Don’t know anything about them though…
2 friends had those . I rode them a few times . They are quick torque laden beasts …but corner like a tug boat . Truley scary and get proper out of shape with more than one input at a time . The xjr is the better choice of that type of bike …want instant grunt from zero rpm … Get a twin .
A mate of mine had one some time ago and he found it great fun, it doesn’t handle like a sports bike but then again it’s not one. I’ve got a b12 and do some longish runs on it without batting an eye lid, and I know your bound to get other peoples preference’s but I’m a great believer of each to their own. After saying that I’ve heard people say they go well but do like to drink a bit of fuel.
What about the Honda X11 . I had one of them . very underated bike . If you can find a good un they are an awesome machine . I had mine for a year and the only reason it went is a megane pulled out infront of it and killed it stone dead .
100nm of torque to flatten most things including mountains. 180bhp. Comfy, naked and excellent at touring also. Fuel range at 120miles is poor though…
Cheap too. 5k will get a 10k miler
i run one for a couple of years totally bomb proof but every corner felt like the front end would let go they eat front discs to the rear shocks are a bit limited oh and you can spin the back wheel in the first 4 gears,
loved that bike lol run a new gsx1250 now for work n play the front feels good compared to the 1400 have a look round there are plenty of good bandit 1250s out there they are about the same bhp they just handle better
