Bit of shameless self-promotion here 
My band is playing at the Emergenza festival, which is a worldwide competition for unsigned bands. There are 4 rounds in the UK, our first-round ‘heat’ is on the 30th January at the Bull & Gate in Kentish Town.
Basically these early rounds are more like a popularity contest, so the more people we can get coming along and voting for us then the better chance we have of progressing to the next round!
The night will definitely be of a rock/metal flavour. There are 8 bands on the bill, and tickets are £7. Anyone that would be interested in supporting us, PM me and I can sort you out with a ticket, I’ll be bringing some to the next two BM meets
