We’ve just covered round 2 of the British Superbikes series at Thruxton, and for those that don’t know, this is one INSANE circuit. There’s no straights, it’s ALL corners, yet the riders top 200mph… whilst turning! It’s flat-out all the way and takes tyres and suspension to the max. There’s some amazing shots in the gallery below, check it out…
I wasn’t there guys! Sorry, but we’re a team effort, i.e. Damon & Andrew do the hard work of attending the race meets and shooting, and I invariably oversee the publication of the photos, and then promote them. I was at home, working furiously on the new version of the site, which is so close you can almost smell it!
Aren’t the photos amazing? I’m genuinely bowled over by how the atmosphere has been captured.
It’s a spectators event, just like football or F1. You buy a ticket in advance, or on the gate and there you go. You can take all the photos you like, though of course you won’t get photos like these as we’re official BSB press and have access all areas, which you don’t get as a spectator, you are behind the saftey fences.
BSB is absolutely fantastic, and I would really strongly recommend that you get along to one of the races!
I’ll watch out for you at Silverstone then shall I?
They are great events and every biker should attend at least one.
@ Uber - thanks for the mods mate, appreciate it. If I had more time after sifting though 1200 shots on Sunday night I’d have done similar for sure. Hard to believe I took’em hehe.
