Home safe and sound via a tea stop at Hayling Island, had a few spots of rain coming of the island,and a lot more approaching Abingdon. Sheltered in the esso garage for a bit then headed home and caught the rain up again. :ermm:

thanks to jetstreams for organising, Tim R for Tail gunning,and every one else for a good laugh along the way. sea you all soon I hope.

You would have loved Julians secret airport. Like Goodwood but more friendly and we all had to share the womens toilets.:hehe:

Nice little waitresses, interesting planes, great looking cakes and lovely setting. We’ll have to go back there.

Though I did not swim, my trunks were very comfortable, eliminating as they did knob nippage, a perennial problem with my more usual Sloggi/leather interface.

When there were two blues harpists called Sonny Boy Williamson, one of them became Sonny Boy Williamson II. But when there were 2 Southamptons on the South Coast, one became Littlehampton.

Or so we were told by locals. I’m not sure if it is on the internet so I’m not sure it is really true

Here’s todays route. I did 157 miles from Chelsea to Chelsea and maxed out at 62.5 mph this week. Thanks for a great day and lots of fun at the fair.

Is this like why is Manly called Manly? Something to do with an observation made by Mrs Macquarie regarding the indigenous men folk from there abouts.
