Didn’t make it to the Ace on time :crying: I was a little pre occupied with a couple of boys in blue concerning the distance I travelled divided by the time it took me to get there… :Whistling:
Did they score you with points for your effort?
It’s unclear, I may have to sit through a lecture instead behind the principles of the rather popular equation :pinch:
You missed a fantastic ride, Slan - that should be punishment enough.
Thanks to Jetstream for leading and Lasse for TG - and everyone else for excellent company
Oh dear Slan, better the long lecture than the gloriouse points. why did you not just flash them?:hehe: or did you not want indecent exposure added to your wrap sheet?
Great day thanks to Julie and Chris for organising and Lasse for tail gunning, sorry about the dust, I’ll be more careful in future. :Whistling:
Great to meet more LBer and very good company you all are. Very happy brains is back and with that looking forward to the belly shots!
Thought I could have gotten away with not washing my bike but a jetstream ride out will alway need a jetwash at the end of it. :crying:
I’m so gutted I missed this:crying: haha Nick, I wasnt wearing a skirt so flashing would have been difficult and just outright indecent exposure!
Looking forward to pics of the day
Great ride today, Thank to C&J for finding those fantastic roads
and not a knobber in sight
whats the verdict on the aldi clobber then jets?
Thanx to everyone for a lovely day me and tracey realy enjoyed are selves it was realy nice meeting some people i had never met before and look forward to meeting you all again i will put some pics up when i get a chance thanks to chris and julie for leading the trip great seeing you again.
Lovely day out, thank you all for coming and making it so much fun. Big thanks to Lasse for tailgunning.
Shame Louise could not attend, hope her neck is feeling better.
I think Im getting acquainted with the big Ninja, Mrs J must be getting used to it too because Ive not had a punch in the kidneys for two weeks.
Nice to see Janie again, Rickys Esso station in Ascot provided the opportunity to attempt to supply an elderly cyclist with an Allen Key but sadly to no avail, we left him pushing it up the pavement. Whats more it gave me chance to plan the rest of the route which at that point I have to admit was a miasma.
Julie and Janie the famous LB tag team took on a motorist using a mobile phone and Brians chain was the focus of much discussion.
Wellingtonia Avenue was reminiscent of the giant redwoods of the USA, the Mortimer bends sorted out the boys from the girls.
Kingsclere to Overton was a blast on the way to the John Russell Fox in Andover where we feasted and sat out the rain.

The A343 to Newbury and the B4494 to Wantage were well received.
We refueled in Wantage.

On to the Little Angel in Henley where we finally got a belly shot we could show.

And now to please Nick, it`s the belly shots.

Whoops, wrong folder.
Looking svelte.

A little coy.

The full Monty. :pinch:

I’ll either have to leave 30 minutes earlier or take the more direct A12 route :ermm:
Setting the on board time piece to the correct numbers may help too.
We left 10 minutes late due to Brians inability to adjust his chain.
You should have let us know, an extra hours wait would have been fine.
Thanks for great day. Great ride out as always with the Jetstreams
Nice to meet those i haven’t meet before.
Louise’s neck i getting better, so no worries there. She’s looking for a ride out to come on soon!
Hope it’s not to bad for you Slan
I managed to wash of the dust cloud luckily.

Thanks for the ride out guys. Nice company and leadership. Nice roads, especially the one to Overton, albeit is dusty.
Seemed well made but a bit short in the arms for me.
I was going to send a text but then thought having kept you hanging around previously it wouldn’t be fair on a late start. Settled for a second helping of the 1057 & 1124 with a couple of scary moments on some unclassifieds cutting through Fordham :w00t:
That`s why yer a national treasure. ![]()
You`ld have been in good company, none of the Hondas could keep up the pace.
Ruth, don’t approach a speed awareness course as a lecture - we both found them very interesting and enlightening afternoons. Mrs J particularly enjoyed hers not only for the interesting content, but partly due to the police superintendant presenting the course was a charming hottie. :Whistling:
Alluding to whom, pray tell?

I was very impressed with Wellingtonia Avenue; you certainly know how to excite the tree geeks amongst the group. I’ve Googled where it is and I think I’m going to have to drag the long suffering fiancee back there to take a slower look and indulge my whims.
