Well thanks to everyone who donated on the Justgiving page for the London Air Ambulance half marathon to be run by Team LB, this ride is now ON!!!
ROUTE:
8.00 am Depart Ace
A bit of A1, Derbyshire Peak District, Yorkshire Dales, Lake District tour and gardening side trip for a quick half hour lawn mow. Coffee included.
Return via Squires Café, more Yorkshire Dales and a bit of a jiggle down more A1 with occasional slowing down for tea, cig breaks etc.
Back before bedtime.
OK chaps/chappesses. Get yer beauty sleep, see you in the morning.
Aw damn I’m in Cheltenham!
Sounds like a cracking (and long) ride out! Have fun!
There are always plenty of excuses, just rock up if you’re coming peeps. Columbian coffee awaits in the South Lake Peninsular for a select few who can make it up there with aplomb:)
Come on Mo, you know yer want to really:)

It’s nearer 700 miles to mow that lawn …
Mrs Art says if you fancy something a little less extreme a 40 mile round trip and you could be cutting our grass.
Is this a solo JetEXstream event :ermm:

Over 600 miles a day is a bit too extreme for me :(iron butt smiley here): … even if it involves such a temptation as [edited:] watching Mrs Jetstream mowing a lawn in Lake District
