I’m riding from Oxford to Poole this weekend, and wonder if anybody could suggest a nice route (or a part of it) to have it relatively easy, with nice twisties and scenery.

Buy the atlas. It’s pretty cr*p to use on the road, but great for route planning. Beats all that faffing around on line.

Once sorted, make a route card on a postcard, tape it to the tank top, get on with it.
