I think there are to many tests and rules now . We do not have the same bleach being added to the gene pool these days . If that 17yo had not had to do his CBT and and safety crapola , buy a restricted bike … have his mum involved … have to ask to have it derestricted … blah blah … remove all those obstacles from his path , then he could well be already permanently off the road . Let the ones who want to do the course do the course … but do not make it mandatory . Much the same as the helmet law … should be down to choice .
