Stopped and fined for Speeding

I had a lawyer, cost me about £800 in the end, but, as mentioned, it stopped me from a ban for sure. There were a number of holes in the case, the colour was one, the statment said he locked onto my ‘front numberplate’ which obviously wasn’t there, and they measured me at 71 from 303ft when the higway code stopping distance from 71mph is 313ft for cars and it says that motorbikes need longer to stop, so seeing as I stopped next to him without emergency braking, how could I have been going 71mph?These were put to the CPS by my lawyer, and it never made it to court. The OP should definitely have a deeper look into this case…

dont have any pointts on my liscense and i weighed up the potential extra cost of going to court etc against just taking the 3 pts and 60 quid…i went for the latter.

if it was a ban or a worse penalty id seriously think about challenging i
