Yeh opportunists I think. I was literally 3 mins. I had the lock in my bag but didn’t lock it as I was only picking someone up. Some people suggest I may have been followed which may be true as it was a quiet side street and there was nobody there when I parked up.
I had a look around the estates yesterday the other side of Greendale from where it was stolen, to see if it had been left in case it had a tracker fitted, but no joy. But if they had a van I’m guessing it got taken a bit further away.
damn that sucks, so these guys simply go around all day long looking for targets? or they just follow you home? a few minutes is nuts… can’t believe you didn’t see it:(
Saying that I left my bike unlocked outside when I go around peoples houses… never though about that, now I better watch out and try to lock it, I usually just put a disc lock on.
On the other hand it seems it helps to break the speed limit, filter between cars and move quickly on your jurney since not many people will manage to follow you, if they do they would be another bike an dit would look suspicious. Keep your pace up and you fine, having a sensitive alarm helps also, I know people get the peed with my alarm as they barely touch it or take a fart near the bike and it goes off:)
