STOLEN GSXR 1000 K7 East London/Essex Area

Don’t buy super expensive toys and keep them on show in front of your house.

If you live in a dodgy part of the world (like all of London or any city for that matter), either have a SECURE garage and keep your toys there, or ride an older bike and never wash it. (Nobody said anything about it not being allowed to be fast.)

Just common sense… Always the same sob stories… “My brand new/fairly new Gixxer/R1/R6 went missing… booo hooo”… get a clue people. Be street smart.

Sorry to hear about this! I’ll keep an eye out for you although if it’s a pro-job she’ll be stripped and de-tagged by now :frowning:
Nate

So mate what area?? was it Romford? Basildon, Brentwood? Ilford??? East Ham? it’s a damn big area… plus at least it gives us heads up.

i agree, you have a point, everyone deserves to be able to not worry about there new biek being pinched…but as said its london, or any city, they will go missing.

Buckhurst Hill, although I dont expect it is anywhere nearby, or at least not in one piece.

LaurenR6 - I also live in a ‘nice area’ but the thieving scum don’t take that into account, I would seriously consider a chain and anchor to put off the less professional criminals, alarms are worthless IMHO the only reason I had one is that the insurance mandated it.

that is a ‘nice’ area, sorry to hear its gone, what are the police saying about it?

Sorry to hear this mate, Buckhurst Hill seems to be quite a popular area at the mo for car/bike thieves.

I live in Epping which I thought was a nice area, I thought my bike would be safe outside the house on the driveway for the eve, when I went to put it in the garage later in the evening it had gone. It was found 3 weeks later at the pikey site in Harlow, smashed to bits.

Well, if it wasn’t a almax, it’s likely they lasted less than a minute against a pair of long-handled croppers.

sorry to hear about the loss

what we must remember is theives know that the ‘nice’ areas are usually where the nice toys are, it doesnt make a difference where you live, they will happily come to you. unfortunately…
