STOLEN GSXR 1000 K7 East London/Essex Area

Had my Suzuki GSXR 1000 K7 stolen on 24/05/09 in the early hours. LL08 JJV

Managed to get through 2 chains on ground anchors, alarmed and blocked in by 2 cars didnt stop them.

Ill post recent pics of it.

Had Arrow exhausts and y-pipe, carbon yoke cover, tinted d/bubble screen, carbon hugger, R&G protectors, scottoiler, HID headlight replacement and most unusual complete Suzuki paint protection film applied with scuff on RHS of fuel tank.

Also some nice white rim tape and Suzuki wheel rim stickers.

If anyone sees anything, will be appreciated.

Steve

sorry to hear this dude - sounds like you did everything you could - they obviously really wanted it :crying:

Hi and welcome, sorry to hear this will keep an eye out for it, what area did it go from ?

hello mate, gutted to hear this, bike’s gorgeous! I live in east london, whereabouts was it nicked from? I’ll keep a look out.

I’ve never really understood how, when a car is blocking in a bike they’re still able to nick it. Is it just a case of them being able to lift it above head height? That would seem very difficult.

4 people, scaffold poles through wheels…or they bump cars out of the way. pro bike thiefs are cunning fuggers

they really wanted your bike dude, where was it taken from?

east london, essex? A12 area? romford? if it is…unfortunetly your one of many, loads have gone missing round that way:(

That sucks, hope you get it back.

Sorry to hear that. What a bummer.

What chains did you use by the way?

The tough bit is that they can probably break the bike and sell the parts for more than the bike would fetch on the used market, unless you had alphadot or some kind of DNA paint sprayed on all the parts.

Must be gutted :frowning:

sorry to hear that mate I’ll keep an eye out for it

Sold secure approved ones that were not bolt croppable by hand apparently!!!

Although the police told me that they are now using portable battery powered hydraulic bolt croppers that will cut through even the thickest chains with ease, seems short of wiring the chains up to the mains if they really want to take it they can

only thing is keep it out of sight !!!

were the chains almax?..sorry to hear this mate…again…what area?

people…the’re at it again…make sure you make life difficult for this scum and get ya trackers and almax’s pronto…

and if your reading this you filthy light fingerd scum bags…

i have an 8 stone rotty…please…try your luck as she barks first…then bites…

i promise you…after she’s through with you it will be my turn…

angry smiled…

sorry to hear it!

tbh, buying locks etc only puts off opportunistic thieves. at the end of the day, just make sure you have decent insurance and declare everything

First of all sorry to hear… mofos need their hands cut off…

So what area was it from mate? East London and Essex is a big place… I will keep an eye as I am based that way but would help to know.

I do think we need harsher punishment once cough in the act with 100% evidence. Death penalty for killing another human being and some phisical punishement for thefts (cut hand off or fingers)… why not… obviously you need that 100% evidence… else you can get innocents getting punished.

P.S. What about the cars? were they damaged? also what about the alarm?? didn’t you hear it? Looks to me that if a professional wants it there is nothing you can do… they can simply come down wait for you to unlock it then stick a gun to your head… or worse come inside the house and cause more damage and grief.

Jesus that is awful, it really brings it home to me how careless I can be. I rest on my laurels that I live in a ‘nice area’ but mine just has an alarm and sits outside the front of my house. No ground anchor and unfortunately no car to block it in. Stupid really when I consider how gutted I’d be if the worst happened.

I seriously hope you hear something, I will keep a look out for you. Best of luck xx

plus 1 out of sigh out of mind…

that said if pro thieves want it, 9/10 they will have it!

i live in east london, i very very nearly bought a spanking 05 R6…i didnt i got my SV1000, less chance of that going missing, and i can park it most places in london without worrying…a sign of the times i’m afraid.

+1 What Ratty said, If pro’s want it they’ll take it.
‘Nice’ area or not I’d still go for a minimum of ground anchor and Almax for sure.

seriously dude, i know of sooooooooo many gixxa’s gone missing round essex/east london, pop in johns of romford and ask them, they have had a good few customers bikes go missing, many pf them well secured too, and all mainly gixxas.

i thought you said it was because you weren’t man enough for a proper sportsbike? :stuck_out_tongue:

R6 aint a proper sportsbike…too fluffy…all about the liter club:D:cool:
