Stiff gearbox on R 1200GS

I’ve had an '08 R1200GS for a couple of months now & love it…

Have noticed over the past few weeks though that in the mornings, the gear box is very stiff (e.g. getting from first into neutral is difficult during the first mile or two/5 mins of riding), but it ‘loosens’ up & is fine once riding…

I’m not sure, but I think it’s getting worse as time goes by - is this something to be worried about/have looked at?

Try letting the bike warm up for longer. It just sounds like the gear box is either too cold in the mornings or it needs a bit more lubrication to get the heat to it quicker.
