Hi all, looking for some direction to resolve a fault. Rear brake is triggering the brake light, but front brake is not. Tried cleaning the contact point that I can see under the brake lever, with no joy. What should I try next?
A multimeter is your best friend here, check the micro switch found on the underside of the brake lever.

Does the switch click when the lever is pulled and released? That’s pull click, release click.

Check the switch continuity, disconnect the two wires, there should be continuity across the switch terminals with the brake lever pulled and no continuity when the brake lever is released.
