I just want to let everybody know that it was Stefan {itsthemechanic} funeral on the 1st of march in Illingen (near Stuttgart) -where his father lives. I know a lot of you were involved with him and maybe have no idea that he has died, I have only just found out this tragic news, messages of condolence are being left on his facebook page.As someone that hasnt visited the forum in quite a while I hope you dont mind me randomly posting this.

despite not being based in the UK he still kept in touch with the Forum and has been part of LB since 2006.

He was indeed… There was a campaign to help him out of a tight spot a few years ago. I will try and find the posts about it.

Shit man sad news indeed he was ok used to wind everyone up something chronic but it was always entertaining. I remember him being stranded in Norway? Or Finland? With no money and a bike but everyone chipped in with fuel money and a ferry ticket home all he had to do was get the bike running he was even offered a place to stay once he got back.

That’s the exact thing I was trying to find earlier, he stayed with Biggus for a while didn’t he. Proper nutty and funny. I enjoyed his ramblings, even as recent on twitter. Another event that the LB community pulled together to help a friend out.Stefen is the one in the suit
